Remember that summer holidays are a time for freak outs and contemplation

Okay so…I never really got around to posting this butttttt we all know that the summer holidays are a time for freak outs and contemplation. I’m still in that phase and it’s October. Mostly freak outs that time is passing by way too quickly (how did my baby just finish KG1?) and contemplation about your life, your kids and why you still don’t get what crypto currency is.  And then there are the late night thoughts about what you accomplished this year and how you’re doing as a mom (oh, and about where to go for your summer holiday – if you’re lucky enough to leave your kids, of course).

It’s also a time where we remember that old is gold. Just might have something to do with everyone visiting parents and grandparents and great aunts and older second cousins! Cherish these moments and remind me to do the same when I catch my daddy trying to feed my 3 puzzle pieces chocolate ice cream before bed. No comment.

I hope you’re having a good break if you’re on one yet and if you’re not well, there’s still magic to be found. Even in the hard bits.

1) Dance off to this
2) Read this
3) Remember this

See you next week and until then, remember that cracks are what let the light through. Promise.
